What or who made you want to pursue an active and healthy lifestyle?Farah: The desire to perform and to get optimal results.
WHEN IT COMES TO OUR PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT FLAVOURS, WHICH ONE DO YOU PREFER?
Vanilla, Chocolate, Raspberry or Salted Caramel?Farah: Raspberry
WHAT IS YOUR POSITION ON THE USE OF ILLEGAL OR UNCONTROLLED DRUGS IN CERTAIN SPORTS SUCH AS THE FITNESS WORLD?Farah: I think it’s unacceptable. Real champions are the ones who are honest. An athlete who wins a medal while being doped should not be proud because it is considered cheating. How could you be proud of yourself knowing that you did not win in a fair way?
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD IT BE?Farah: I would not change anything, I find myself perfect as I am!
WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS HERO?Farah: American track and field athlete, Allyson Felix.
What is the best part about competing?Farah: The challenge, the show, the crowd. I like being on a starting line with multiple opponents and feeling the adrenaline rush. We are all here to give the best of ourselves.
What is your favorite song to listen prior to competing?Farah: I do not have a particular song, but I like to listen to songs from Drake's album.
IF YOU HAD SUPERPOWERS, WHAT WOULD THEY BE AND WHAT WOULD BE YOUR SUPERHERO NAME?Farah: I would like to have the power of healing.
WHAT IS YOUR GUILTY PLEASURE OR FAVORITE CHEAT MEAL?Farah: My favorite cheat meal is a good pepperoni and bacon pizza!
WHAT ARE YOUR PERSONAL HEALTH GOALS FOR THIS YEAR?Farah: My personal goals for this year is to gain muscle, improve my nutrition, take supplements and vitamins which my body needs to perform better.
Do you believe that women are well represented in the sports and fitness industries?Farah: I think the image of women in sport has improved, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
How does it feel to represent your country internationally and at the Olympic Games?Farah: It’s extraordinary, every time I feel an indescribable joy. It's a dream come true. There are not many people who will have the chance to run in an international championship. It is an immense honor to be able to wear the colors of your country.
What is the key to a successful 100-meter hurdles?Farah: You need to have a great start, be aggressive, pass each hedge as quickly as possible. You must be precise and have a good race technique.
We noticed that you like to travel, what was your favorite destination and where do you plan to travel next?Farah: My discipline allows me to travel a lot for training camps and competitions. My favorite destination is Nassau in the Bahamas. Coming soon, I plan to compete in the United States and probably go to a training camp in Grenada.
WHY ATP LAB?Farah: I chose ATP Lab because the supplements and vitamins are made of natural products and because I have always wanted to be associated with a Canadian company. Also, for its certified products!
IN A FEW WORDS, WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO FANS WHO SEEK A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?Farah: Everything is possible, you just need to keep pushing. You must also work progressively.
